Many of today's 5,000 Oblate priests and brothers in over 60 countries around the world are working with poor communities as they struggle, in the spirit of the gospel, to overcome poverty, injustice and oppression.

Prayer

O God you blessed Saint Eugene de Mazenod, Founder of the Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate, with the zeal of an apostle to preach the Good News to the nations.

Grant that by his intercessions we may be filled with the same spirit and dedicate ourselves wholeheartedly to the service of the Church and the salvation of all.  We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ Our Lord.
